Police recover body from Lincoln river

Body recovered: Police have recovered the body of a man from River Witham in Lincoln.

Police have recovered the body of a 93-year-old man from River Witham in Lincoln.

Officers received a report of a dead body in the water at Boultham Avenue at around 3pm on November 27.

Divers recovered the body of a man from the water. A post mortem examination will be held.

There are no suspicious circumstances around the man’s death, Lincolnshire Police said.
