Solicitors expand with merger in Lincoln

Chattertons McKinnells: Two local solicitors firms are merging and will begin trading from their new Lincoln office from December.

Chattertons solicitors will soon move to a new Lincoln head office after agreeing to merge with McKinnells solicitors.

The combined Lincoln offices will trade as Chattertons McKinnells, while offices in other locations will continue to be known as Chattertons.

The merger will be effective across the entire firm from December 1, 2013.

The six McKinnells partners will join the merger as Chattertons McKinnells partners, and the approximate 40 staff members will also be joining.

The existing Chattertons office will move from their offices on Doddington Road, North Hykeham to McKinnells offices on West Parade, Lincoln.

Joint Managing Partner, Edward Conway, will be moving over to the new Lincoln office to run the enlarged company, which will staff approximately 60 people.

Chattertons Solicitors say they will be able to offer an extensive range of legal services from the Lincoln office, with access to a large number of specialists across the firm.

Any wills, deeds and other documents held at the current Lincoln Chattertons office will be transferred over to our new office on West Parade.
