Fatal collision: A Lincoln woman has died after she was hit by a bus on the High Street.

A Lincoln woman has died after she was hit by a bus on the High Street.

The incident happened just before 12.40pm on November 22 on the High Street, between Anchor Street and Firth Road, outside the Anchor pub.

The 36-year-old woman was taken to Lincoln County Hospital with a serious head injury.

Sadly, she has since been pronounced deceased, police said.

It is not thought anyone on the bus was injured.

The High Street was closed from Dixon Street to Portland Street while police carry out investigations. The road reopened at 4.20pm.
