Lincoln Reindeer Parade

Santa’s herd stops by: Among festive events on the Lincoln Christmas calendar, residents and visitors enjoyed the annual reindeer parade in the city centre.

People in Lincoln were able to enjoy a postcard scene when Santa’s herd of reindeer played a starring role in the city’s festive celebrations on December 12.

The six Scottish Cairngorms arrived at Bailgate at 6pm and joined visitors and residents for a Christmas parade through the city centre.

The trail led from Biggers of Bailgate to the Cornhill. While attracting the attention of shoppers, the team welcomed those wishing to take photographs.

Children also had the chance to meet Father Christmas and take a ride on the sleigh.

Organised by Lincoln BIG, the event is among many seasonal festivities taking place in the city, such as the advent shopping prize trail and the popular Lincoln Ice Rink.
