Double promotion at Lincoln accountancy firm

Going up: A Lincoln-based accountancy firm is celebrating the promotion of two accomplished managers.

Partners at Lincoln-based chartered accountancy firm Nicholsons promoted two of its managers to the position of associate.

Between them, the two new associates rack up 24 years at the firm, and will be playing a part in developing the local business further.

Jo Brown has been with the firm for over 14 years, having spent three years at another practice, and was previously a manager in its audit department.

In her new role, she aims to develop the business from within, as well as helping maintain the good client relationships the firm already enjoys.

She will also be involved in training and the development of the team.

John Raynor, who was also previously an audit manager, joined the firm 10 years ago as a trainee, completing his training with Nicholsons and qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2008.

He too will now focus on business development at the firm in his new role, as well as continuing to build on the successful relationships he has with his existing client base.

Managing partner Richard Grayson said: “I am absolutely delighted to welcome both Jo and John to their new roles as associates in the firm.

“Since joining Nicholsons, both have shown themselves to be real team players with a genuine passion for helping to take the firm forward.

“These promotions are richly deserved and I look forward to seeing both Jo and John continue to grow professionally in their new roles as they further their careers with us.”
