Lincoln woman left with chipped tooth after New Year’s Eve assault

Nasty attack: A woman suffered a chipped tooth after an alleged assault on New Year’s Eve in Lincoln.

Lincolnshire Police are looking for information after a Lincoln woman was allegedly assaulted in the city on New Year’s Eve.

The incident happened at around 4.45pm on lower Lincoln High Street, between Lincoln Magistrates Court and Tentercroft Street.

A 32-year-old local woman went to pick something up off the pavement, but was punched in the face as she got up, causing a chipped tooth.

The offender is described as an Asian man with short hair, wearing a cream coat and a black t-shirt.
