Winning £585k lotto ticket claimed in Lincoln

Lincoln lotto winner: £585,956 lotto prize has been claimed in Lincoln – after the winner remained identified for 26 days.

National Lottery operator Camelot UK announced the £585,956 lotto prize has finally been claimed in Lincoln after the winner remained unidentified for 26 days.

Unless the winner of the prize from the lotto draw on January 4 opts to take full publicity, no further information can be released about their win.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “We’re delighted that the winner of this amazing prize has now come forward and we hope that they will enjoy their win – what an amazing way to start 2014.

“It would have been awful if the ticket-holder had missed out on this substantial and life-changing amount of money.

“We would like to remind all National Lottery players to check their tickets every time they play.”

The winning numbers on January 4 were 4, 11, 18, 28, 41, 44 and the bonus ball was 8. The lucky ticket-holder had until July 3, 2014, to claim their prize.
