Lincoln man stabbed in his home

Leg wounds: Police are investigating a stabbing incident which happened in Lincoln overnight.

A Lincoln man was found with stab wounds at his home in the city earlier this morning.

The incident happened at around 1.45am on February 27 at a home in Doughty’s Court off Waterside South in Lincoln.

Police found a 45-year-old local man with stab wounds on his leg.

He was taken to Lincoln County Hospital and detained overnight, but his condition is not believed to be life threatening or serious.

Lincolnshire Police have since arrested a 46-year-old woman from Grimsby after being stopped in a blue Suzuki car on the A46.

She remains in custody and will be interviewed at Lincoln Police Station.
