Sudden death: A Lincoln man has died following a fall from a multi-storey car park in the city.

A Lincoln man has died following a fall from a multi-storey car park in the city.

The incident happened at around 7.26am on February 26 at the Broadgate car park on St Rumbold’s Street in Lincoln.

The man is thought to be a 23-year-old Lincoln resident. He died at the scene.

At this stage, officers are trying to determine if the man fell or jumped from the multi-storey car park.

The scene is cordoned off and the car park currently closed.

Lincolnshire Police are in the process of confirming the identity of the deceased and trying to inform his family and friends.

Police are asking any witnesses to contact them via the 101 non-emergency number.
