Sneak peek: Joules clothing store in Lincoln

Preview: We check out the new Joules store on Lincoln High Street ahead of its opening.

The new Lincoln branch of country heritage brand Joules is set to its doors on Thursday, February 27 — and we stopped by for a preview of the store.

The shop on 249 High Street has created 11 new jobs and will be looking to continue recruiting after the initial few months of trading.

Inside, shoppers will find a range of men’s, women’s and children’s wear as well as the shop being the first in the country to offer the garden and picnic range.

The store opens at 10am with the first customer in the queue receiving a £100 voucher and more vouchers and offers being given away throughout the day.

Store opening manager for Joules, Gale Hugill, said: “This new unit has turned into such a beautiful, big store and we are eager to show it off.”

“We now sell sleep wear and a greater selection on shoes, in addition obviously to our famous wellies. Every season we see more products.

“Lincoln will be the first place that you can see the picnic and gardening range and that is because the online demand from the area has been so great.

“The company have a great following in Lincoln and the shop has already attracted a lot of attention. We have had to disappoint a lot of people this week who have wanted to come and have a browse.
