Hundreds of people lined the streets in Lincoln to greet and cheer Paralympic hero Jade Etherington on her open top bus tour around the city.

Jade (23), who is currently a trainee teacher in Lincoln, left a legacy on the slopes of Sochi when she bagged four medals for team GB.

The visually impaired ski racer became the most successful British Winter Paralympian in history when she achieved three silver medals and one bronze.

During the tour across the city jade met her fans, who also got the chance to hold her medals.
