Around 200 runners took part in the Lincoln Great Spring Chicken Run in the city centre on April 27, raising money for charity.

The Bailgate Rotary Club of Lincoln’s popular event raised funds for St John’s Ambulance and other local worthy causes, including the Lincoln Stroke Club, the Lincoln Tank Memorial Group, the Nomad Trust, Shelter Box, STRUT and Women’s refuge.

The run had a 2.5km or 5km route through the city centre and around Brayford Pool, starting in Cornhill.
