Four dogs stolen in Lincoln village burglary

Stolen pedigrees: Four dogs were taken from a home in Saxilby this week.

Four pedigree dogs have been stolen from a property in a village near Lincoln.

The incident was reported to police at 10.08pm on May 27, and happened some time between 10.20am and 3pm at a property on Sturton Road, Ingleby, Saxilby.

Offenders managed to break in by forcing padlocks and breaking into the kennels in which the dogs were kept.

The four dogs stolen are all female pedigree Cavalier King Charles spaniels.

All are white with brown patches, and three are eight-years-old and one is 12. All the dogs have been microchipped.

The owner is concerned someone may attempt to breed from the elderly dogs.
