Three men released after ‘suspicious’ Lincoln incident

Investigation continues: Three men arrested after a suspicious incident in Lincoln have been released on police bail.

Three men arrested in connection with a ‘suspicious’ incident in Lincoln have been released on bail.

The incident happened on April 29 at an address on Princess Street, where a 28-year-old local man was found with a serious head injury.

He was taken to the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield, where he is still being treated for his injury. He remains in a serious condition, police said.

The men, two aged 47 and the other aged 38, were arrested on suspicion of Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH).

Police still regard the incident as suspicious, but have lifted the guard off Princess Street.

Police are still appealing for witnesses who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in the area to contact them on 101, quoting incident 190 of April 29, 2014.
