TV and tablet stolen in Lincoln burglary

Electronics stolen: Police are keen to trace a man in connection with a burglary in Lincoln.

A large television and a tablet computer were stolen in a burglary in Lincoln last week.

The incident happened between 9.30am and 6pm on May 9 on Hawthorn Chase.

In the burglary, a 39-inch Samsung television (model number UE39F5500) and a black Apple iPad in a black Griffin Survivor case were taken.

Officer are keen to trace a man seen in the area carrying a brand new television in an unopened white box.

Additionally, a number of witnesses have reported seeing the man in the afternoon of that date with the TV package on his shoulder. He was also carrying a carrier bag.

He is described as in his 30s, wearing a white tracksuit top and black tracksuit bottoms, and short dark hair.

It is also believed he stopped to speak to a dog-walker, so officers would like to talk to this individual.

Police want to speak to anyone who saw the man around Hawthorn Chase and nearby roads on May 9.
