Biker injured in Lincoln after crash with two cars

Biker injured: A 48-year-old biker suffered a dislocated shoulder and head injury after colliding with two cars at the Brayford Way/Carholme Road junction in Lincoln.

A 48-year-old biker suffered a dislocated shoulder and head injury after colliding with two cars at the Brayford Way/Carholme Road junction in Lincoln.

The BMW motorbike was involved in a crash with an Audi A4 and a Volkswagen Polo near to the Horse and Groom pub at around 6.15pm on July 24.

The male biker, from Scunthorpe, was taken to Lincoln County Hospital and treated overnight for his injuries.

The incident resulted in the brief closure of the Brayford Way bridge near to the University of Lincoln.

No one else was injured as a result of the incident.

Lincolnshire Police are asking that anyone who witnessed the incident gets in touch via the 101 number, quoting incident number 406 of July 24.
