Clothes stolen from washing line in Lincoln

Unusual: A household has been left baffled after their washing was stolen from their garden.

“A washing line full of clothing is obviously now a temptation,” said Lincolnshire Police PCSO Pete Davies after clothing was stolen from a washing line in Lincoln.

The incident happened overnight on July 7 on Milfoil Avenue, in Lincoln’s West End.

A full line of clothing was stolen from the property, situated next to the Carholme Golf Course.

PCSO Pete Davies added: “This is not the first time a theft of this type this has been reported to the police in Lincoln.

“Please be mindful when leaving clothing out drying overnight.”
