Mayor of Lincoln to host tea party for charity

Time for tea: The Mayor of Lincoln Councillor Brent Charlesworth is inviting Lincoln residents to his Charity Garden Party, complete with afternoon tea and entertainment.

The Mayor of Lincoln Councillor Brent Charlesworth is inviting Lincoln residents to his Charity Garden Party, complete with afternoon tea and entertainment.

The event will take place on Saturday, August 2 from 4pm until 7pm at Willowdene, Paddock Lane, Branston.

All proceeds will go towards the Mayor’s charities, Development Plus and Dial-A-Ride.

Councillor Charlesworth said: “I’m looking forward to seeing lots of people at the garden party.

“The money raised will go a long way to supporting two fantastic charities which do so much for our community.

“I’m really grateful to the friends of the Sheriff and Sheriff’s Lady who have kindly offered to host the Garden Party at their home.

“All we need now is some good weather!”
