Police search for man after Lincoln theft

Do you know this man? Police are keen to trace this man in relation to the theft at a Lincoln pub.

Lincolnshire Police are looking for a man in connection with a theft in a Lincoln pub two months ago.

The incident happened at the Millers Arms pub on High Street, Lincoln, at around 6am on May 18.

A man woke up in the pub’s beer garden to discover his wallet and phone had been stolen.

It is thought a male offender approached him on three separate occasions in the space of around 20 minutes while he slept, and removed items from his trouser pockets.

The suspect is thought to have approached the pub on foot along High Street from the direction of St Catherines, then turned into Vernon Street going into the rear of the Millers Arms.

After leaving the victim, the offender went across High Street onto Scorer Street, and then onto Sincil Bank towards the city centre.

Police investigating the incident would like to speak to anyone who recognises the man pictured or spotted something suspicious in the area at the time of the offence.
