Video: Lincoln does the Ice Bucket Challenge – Part 3

Social media sensation: Yet more Lincoln residents are taking up the Ice Bucket Challenge, getting more creative than before.

More people in Lincoln have been taking part in the charity Ice Bucket Challenge, with plenty more quirky ideas.

Over the last 24 hours, Lincoln residents have jumped in bins and baths full of ice water, been drenched by diggers, dressed up as sharks or fairies and more to help raise awareness for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

One Lincoln filmmaker, Chris Thomas, even produced his own short dramatic film for the challenge:

The idea, which involves a person being nominated to pour a bucket of icy water over their head within 24 hours or donate to charity (then nominating three more people), stems from MND sufferer Anthony Senerchia from Pelham, New York.

The challenge has spread the UK rapidly, with a host of celebrities also taking part in the event.

Take the Ice Bucket Challenge and make a donation by texting ICED55 £5 (or other amount) to 70070, visiting the Just Giving page, or by calling 01604 611860 referencing the Ice Bucket Challenge.
