Lincoln man arrested after Welton garage burglary spate

Check your shed: A Lincoln man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary after a number of outbuildings were targeted in Welton.

A 23-year-old Lincoln man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary after a number of outbuildings were targeted in Welton.

Overnight on Tuesday, September 2 and into Wednesday, September 3 five garages were broken into in various addresses in the village near Lincoln.

Lincolnshire Police are advising Welton residents to double-check any outbuildings such as sheds or garages to make sure they have not been broken into, or an attempt made, and to ensure no items are missing.

The Lincoln man, arrested on suspicion of burglary, has been bailed pending further enquiries.
