It is believed that an offender or offenders entered the property by forcing a ground floor window at the rear of the house.

Another laptop was also stolen, as well as an iPod, a wallet, and a quantity of jewellery.

PC Nial Evans, of Lincoln CID, is investigating the incident and said: “Any burglary is often traumatic for the victim involved and this one is particularly upsetting because of the sentimental value of what has been taken.

“The lady involved is distraught that the pictures of her daughter have been taken.

“I would like to reach out to anyone who knows anyone who might have carried out this offence or who knows where the stolen property is so we can make sure it is returned to this lady.”

Anyone with information about this burglary should contact Lincolnshire Police on 101 quoting incident 276 of September 3.
