Thousands of people visited uphill Lincoln on October 25 to taste the finest sausages at the Lincolnshire Sausage Festival.

As well as a number of stalls in Lincoln Castle selling sausages to eat or take home, and other food, drinks and condiments to compliment the meat, there was plenty of other entertainment in store.

Popular local brands included Redhill Farm Free Range Pork, Cote Hill Cheese and Mountain’s Boston Sausage.

Liver entertainment included The Europa Clowns, Matto and Polo, and the Cosmic Sausages.

Redhill Farm Free Range Pork marquee also held a number of children’s cookery classes, which makes cooking fun for kids.

The event was organised by the Rotary Club of Lincoln Colonia and Select Lincolnshire.
