Over the Christmas period, bin collections in Lincoln and the surrounding areas will be subject to a few changes.
In Lincoln, collection dates will remain the same unless the usual collection date would be due to take place on Thursday, December 25, or Friday, December 26.
If this is the case, collections due on December 25 have been rescheduled for Saturday, December 20.
Collections due on December 26 have been rescheduled until Saturday, December 27.
Anyone unsure about bin collections in Lincoln can use an online form to view waste collection plans for their address.
West Lindsey residents can also check their bin collection days via an online postcode search.
In North Kesteven, there are a number of changes as follows:
The City of Lincoln Council’s Christmas tree collections will take place from Monday, January 12 until January 23, 2015.
Anyone wishing to take advantage of this service can place their real Christmas trees next to their black bin, or cut them to fit in their green bins if they are subscribed to this service.
People in Lincoln looking to dispose of their Christmas trees after the festivities come to a close can also contact St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice, who will be offering a recycling service for a donation of £5.
Trees will be collected from areas LN1 through to LN6.
