Lost Village woodland music festival announced near Lincoln

If you go down to the woods: A secluded electronic woodland music festival will be planted in a yet-to-be-announced location 10 minutes from Lincoln.

A secluded electronic woodland music festival will be planted in a yet-to-be-announced location 10 minutes from Lincoln this Spring Bank Holiday weekend.

The new Lost Village festival has been conceived by music brand Moda Black and will be headed by event creators and DJ duo from Lincoln Jaymo and Andy George.

The location is a 10 minute drive from Lincoln city centre.

The festival will take place in a privately owned woodland in the Lincolnshire countryside between Newark and Lincoln, between Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24 (12 noon to midnight).

The headline acts have been announced including Four Tet, Jamie Jones and DJ Koze. Earlybird tickets sold out in a matter of hours, ahead of the line-up announcements.

The set up will be set against an eerie backdrop with old cabins, dilapidated building and soundtracked by international house, techno, disco and electronica artists.

Festival creators Jaymo and Andy George said: “We always said that if we ever did a festival it would have to be in an amazing setting – it took a long time to find the right place.

“Lost Village was inspired by a fascination with old ruins and abandoned places – mixing that almost haunted woodland ambience with amazing music is going to make for a really special weekend-long party.”
