Newark Road works: Repair works along Newark Road in Lincoln are expected to take five nights, with temporary traffic lights in place throughout.

Repair works along Newark Road in Lincoln are expected to take five nights, with temporary traffic lights in place throughout.

The work will start at 7pm on Monday, February 23 and continue over five nights until February 28.

Loose manholes and ironwork will be replace along the section between Brant Road and Doddington Road.

Temporary traffic signals will be required around the Brant Road, Rookery Lane and Hykeham Road junctions.

A Lincolnshire County Council spokesperson said: “The work is taking place at night to reduce the impact on traffic, and every effort will be made to complete the scheme as quickly as possible. It is expected that most disruption will take place before midnight.

“Access will be maintained at all times to properties and businesses where possible.”
