The Lincolnshire Horse Trials kicked off at the Lincolnshire Showground on Friday, March 20, where leading riders and novices alike compete over three days.
Each day, riders focus on a particular event so that visitors can enjoy cross country, dressage and show jumping.
The sport is run much like a triathlon, in that it combines different disciplines in one competition and is run on a cumulative penalty bases.
The event continues between 8am and 5pm on March 21 and 22, and the entrance fee is £5 per car.
People can find out more about the event by visiting the Lincolnshire Showground website.
