Mobility scooter theft: Police are appealing for information and witnesses after an elderly lady had her mobility scooter stolen in Lincoln.

Police are appealing for information and witnesses after an elderly woman’s mobility scooter was stolen in Lincoln.

Investigating officers say the 76-year-old victim relied heavily on the scooter to assist her in getting out and about, adding that the theft has left her restricted to her home.

The red scooter was stolen from the front yard of a property in Lenton Green, Lincoln, sometime between the late hours of Friday, February 27 and early hours of Saturday, February 28.

Lincolnshire Police would like to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything or anyone suspicious in the area at the time, or anyone who may have seen the mobility scooter.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Lincolnshire Police on 101 quoting incident 145 of February 28.
