In pictures: Lincoln St George’s Day Parade

St George’s Day: Hundreds of children marched through uphill Lincoln over the weekend in the annual St George’s Day parade.

Hundreds of Beavers, Scouts, Brownies, Rainbows, Cubs and Guides gathered at Lincoln Castle over the weekend for the 28th Lincoln District St George’s Day Parade.

The annual parade kicked off at 1.30pm on Sunday, April 26 with a march from the castle grounds to Lincoln Cathedral.

The group included the district scout band and, after a service at the cathedral, the march was completed through uphill Lincoln for parents and visitors to watch.
