Tributes to Robert Taylor after fatal Lincoln stabbing

Tributes: People have paid tributes to Robert Taylor, who was murdered in Lincoln.

A trial into the fatal stabbing of Robert Taylor begins on Tuesday, April 21, with 28-year-old Kieley Davis charged with his murder.

As previously reported, Robert was stabbed in the Walnut Place area of Lincoln near to Portland Street on Friday, April 17.

He died in hospital shortly after of his injuries.

A man aged 42, who was also arrested in connection with the incident, has been released on police bail.

People paid tribute to Robert after his death on social media:

Rhiannon Clifford said: “Rest in peace Rob, will be missed by all three of us. Holmes will miss his walks with you.”

Becky Ross left her goodbye on Facebook:

“A life taken too soon, rest in peace mate, going to miss you loads. Thoughts are with your daughter, mum, sister, brothers girlfriend and all other family members, shine bright like a diamond up there for us all.”

Kerry Henry said: “So sad. I went to school with Rob and although I haven’t seen him much over the years I still remember him with fondness. RIP.”

“Rob ment alot to us, we’re heartbroken and shocked, thinking of you all at this very sad time,” said Becky Ross.

Maddie-Ann Baillie added her tribute: “I can’t believe I’ll never see you again, I’ll always love and miss you uncle Rob!”
