Man assaulted on Lincoln High Street

High Street assault: Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a man was assaulted on Lincoln High Street.

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a man was assaulted on the Lincoln High Street on Wednesday, April 29.

At around 10.15am that morning on the pedestrian precinct area between Marks and Spencer and Primark a 33-year-old local man was approached by another man and assaulted.

Police say he was not seriously injured in the incident.

It is believed there would have a been a number of people in the area during that time and officers who like to hear from anyone who witnessed the assault.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Lincolnshire Police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting incident 136 of April 29.
