The Lincoln Debate: Audience verdict

From the audience: We spoke to audience members after the Lincoln Debate. Hear what they had to say.

The Lincoln Debate, held at the LPAC, saw five of the six MP candidates for the city answer questions from a 200-strong audience, as well as responding to comments via social media.

The 90-minute programme, which was a unique collaboration between The Lincolnite, Lincolnshire Echo and BBC Radio Lincolnshire, was broadcast live on May 4 – three days before the general election.

Those attending the debate, as well as those getting involved at home, had their say on social media using the #LincolnDebate hashtag.

In a series of post-event reflections, audience members spoke to The Lincolnite about the highlights, and which of the candidates stood out to them.
