Daytime assault: Police are investigating the assault of a 39-year-old local man after a quarrel broke out on Baggholme Road in Lincoln.

Police are investigating the assault of a 36-year-old local man after a quarrel broke out on Baggholme Road in Lincoln.

At 9.40pm on Tuesday, June 9 police received a report that a man and woman were involved in a scrap with another man outside the Select and Save Shop.

The victim, a 36-year-old local man, is said to have been assaulted, receiving injuries to his nose.

Officers say while no description of the suspects is available, officers investigating the incident would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the disturbance.
