Livestock swiped: Up to 300 sheep and 120 cattle have been stolen in a night time raid from a farm near Lincoln.

Up to 300 sheep and 120 cattle have been stolen in a night time raid from a farm near Lincoln.

The theft occurred sometime between 8pm on Sunday, July 26 and 8am on Monday, July 27 on a farm near to Beckingham Range in Brant Broughton.

Lincolnshire Police believe it is possible that the animals may have been offered for sale and officers would like to hear from anyone who may have been approached by any individual selling sheep or cattle.

Anyone with information or who saw people acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the theft is asked to contact the police on 101, quoting incident 235 of 27/07/2015.
