Three men arrested in football disorder incident in Lincoln

Football violence: Three Boreham Wood fans have been arrested and bailed in relation to football disorder after a match with Lincoln City FC.

Three men have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder in Lincoln on Saturday, September 12.

The men, all from Borehamwood in Hertfordshire and aged 53, 24, and 27, have since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

The incident is believed to have been football related.

Police say it began just before 5pm at the High Street / Shakespeare Street junction and is thought to have involved around 40 people.

Three people were reported to have been injured, though not seriously.

The investigation is continuing.
