Appeal renewed after Lincoln man, 70, is killed in Newark Road crash

Renewed appeal: Officers investigating a crash which led to the death of a 70-year-old man from Lincoln have re-issued their appeal for information.

Officers investigating a crash which led to the death of a 70-year-old man from Lincoln have re-issued their appeal for information.

As previously reported, the crash occurred on Friday, October 23 at around 7pm.

The 70-year-old local male, who was on foot, was in a collision with a white Vauxhall Vivaro van driven by a 31-year-old local man.

The pedestrian was taken to Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham where he later died. Police say they are not yet in a position to be able to name him.

The van driver was not injured.

Officers investigating the incident have asked again for anyone who witnessed the collision, who has not already spoken to police, to contact them.
