Cyclist dies after serious A46 Lincoln bypass crash

Fatal collision: A man who was seriously injured in a crash on the A46 Lincoln bypass in the early hours of Sunday, November 1 has died in hospital.

A male cyclist who was seriously injured in a crash on the A46 Lincoln bypass in the early hours of Sunday, November 1 has died in hospital.

As previously reported, the 37-year-old man was riding a bicycle along the eastbound carriageway at around 2.15am when he was in a crash with a Ford Focus.

The man, who was from the Louth area, was taken to Lincoln County Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

He was later sadly pronounced dead.
