Cyclist seriously injured in early morning A46 Lincoln bypass crash

Serious crash: A male cyclist in his 30s has been seriously injured in a crash with a car on the A46.

A male cyclist in his 30s has been seriously injured in a crash with a car on the A46 in the early hours of Sunday, November 1.

Police were alerted to the crash involving a Ford Focus on the eastbound carriageway, near to the Burton Road Bridge, at around 2.15am.

He was taken to Lincoln County Hospital for treatment for his injuries and remains there at the time of writing.

Nobody else was injured in the crash.

Police would like to hear from anyone who might have any information in relation to the collision who has not already spoken to police.
