Police are searching for three men in connection with an investigation into a series of burglaries in Lincoln.

On November 16 several reports of burglaries were made to properties in south Lincoln, where offenders gained entry by forcing a rear door.

The three men were first seen in footage published on The Lincolnite after a brave Lincoln mum scared them away after they allegedly tried to break into her house on the same day.

They appeared in the woman’s garden off Doddington Road at just before midday last week and tried both the back and side doors to her house.

It was then that the 46-year-old mum saw the trespassers and started banging on the window to scare them away.

The video shows the men hurriedly make their escape in the direction of a footpath towards Swanholme Lakes.

Lincolnshire Police also issued a warning on Monday, November 23, after a recent spate of break-ins in the lower High Street, South Park and St. Catherine’s areas.

Investigating officers would like to hear from anyone who knows any of the men pictured to see if they have any information that may assist the enquiry.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Lincolnshire Police on 101 quoting incident 167 of 16/11/2015. Alternatively contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
