Silence of the Yellowbellies?

Have you heard the rumour about men, women and young people in Lincoln suddenly losing their voices?

For many it lasts for a year; for some it will last for 5 years; for a few, their voices will never recover. No matter how hard they try, they simply cannot be heard.

What would you do if I told you the rumour would come true this weekend? Warn your family and friends? Reach out to those affected? Search for a cure?

By Saturday morning, thousands of people across the country could have lost their voices. Nobody yet knows how many Lincolnites and Yellowbellies will be silenced.

If you could protect yourself and ensure that your voice is heard loud and clear, would you choose to? If the cure was just one click away and took only a few minutes, would you take it before this Friday?

If the answer is yes, simply follow this link and make sure your voice is heard.

In previous years, one person could register a whole house to vote. Maybe your wife, husband, housemate or parent registered you last time?

This year you can only register yourself. So, unless you have specifically registered yourself you will lose your chance to vote and influence the world around you.

Don’t lose your voice. Don’t rely on others to speak for you. Register to vote by this Friday and ensure that your voice is heard.
