Investigation continues: Two men arrested in connection with an armed robbery in a shop south of Lincoln have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

Two men arrested in connection with an armed robbery in a shop south of Lincoln have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

As previously reported, Lincolnshire Police received reports that a man carrying a ‘knife-type weapon’ had entered a business on College Road in Cranwell on Friday, October 30, demanding money.

The female member of staff involved in the incident was left shaken up the robbery but was not injured.

Following a police appeal, two local men, aged 20 and 28, were both arrested on suspicion of robbery.
