Panto cast call for Lincoln public to donate Christmas gifts to sick children

Help needed: The cast of a Lincoln pantomime are looking to share some festive cheer for children in hospital over Christmas.

The cast of a Lincoln pantomime are looking to share some festive cheer for children in hospital over Christmas.

Lincoln Drill Hall and the Jamie Marcus Productions cast of Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs will be visiting the children’s wards at Lincoln County Hospital on December 18, armed with gifts.

The cast are hoping to be able to give a present to every child stuck in hospital, and are appealing for Lincoln residents to donate gifts.

Examples of what people can buy include computer games, jigsaws, kaleidoscopes, jewellery making kits, musical toys and books.

Jamie Marcus said: “All presents should either be labelled with the gifts age range and whether suitable for male or female or both or we are happy to accept unwrapped presents too.

“Don’t forget the age group you’re donating to is 0-18 years as teenagers are often forgotten. If you donate chocolate, please make sure the ingredients are on the packet as we have to be careful with allergies.

“Please bring your wrapped and labelled or unwrapped gift to the Lincoln Drill Hall by Friday, December 18.”
