Hundreds of pounds of DIY tools stolen in Lincoln garden shed break-in

A chainsaw and patrol lawnmower were among several items stolen by thieves who broke into a garden shed in Lincoln at the weekend.

The burglary on Bucknall Avenue in the Boultham area of the city took place between 4pm on Saturday and 10am on Sunday.

In addition to the McCulloch chainsaw and Mountfield lawnmower, the burglars also stole a DAB digital radio, Dewault SDS 24b drill and laser level, and a McCulloch strimmer.

The total cost of the items stolen is estimated to be well into the hundreds of pounds.

Anyone with information on the burglary should call Lincolnshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 174 of December 13.
