One man still at large after dramatic burglary attempt and crash in Lincoln village

One still on the run: Officers have made a further arrest in connection with an attempted burglary and collision in a Lincoln village over the weekend, however one suspect remains at large.

Lincolnshire Police have made a further arrest in connection with an attempted burglary and collision in a Lincoln village over the weekend, however one suspect remains at large.

As previously reported, four men were said to have attempted to burgle a house in Skellingthorpe before speeding away in a stolen car and crashing into a ditch at around 9.50pm on Saturday, December 19.

Two men, aged 23 and 25, were found injured at the scene of the crash off Jerusalem Road and were taken to hospital. They were arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary .

Two other men fled from the scene, sparking a police hunt over the weekend.

A 22-year-old local man was arrested on Sunday, December 20 on suspicion of attempted burglary.

One man remains outstanding and a number of enquiries are ongoing to locate him.
