Stay alert: Police are urging people to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity after a series of burglaries on Burton Road and Ermine.

Lincolnshire Police are urging people to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity after a series of burglaries in the Burton Road and Ermine estate areas in Lincoln.

Between December 25-30, a total of seven burglaries have been reported in these areas, mainly taking place between tea time (5-6pm) to the early hours of the morning, at around 2.30am.

A number of enquiries are ongoing into these burglaries and officers would like to hear from anyone who thinks they may have information that could assist the investigation.

Have you seen or heard anyone suspicious in these areas over the last five days? Call police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting incident 222 of 30/12/2015.
