Appeal to find vulnerable missing teenager with links to Lincolnshire

Missing teenager: Lincolnshire Police are appealing for help to find a teenage boy who has gone missing.

Lancashire Police are appealing for help to find a teenage boy who has gone missing, with links to Lincolnshire.

Kye Albelda, 14, was last seen outside Blackpool Magistrates’ Court around 1pm on January 7.

He is described as black, 6ft tall, of slim build with short black hair. He was last seen wearing a black puffa jacket, black trousers and black trainers.

He has links to Lincolnshire and London and his last known address was in the Warwickshire area.

PC David Payne, of Lancashire Police, said: “It has been a number of days since Kye went missing and we are getting increasingly concerned about him.

“If anyone has seen Kye or knows where he is, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.”

Janice Spencer, Assistant Director of Children’s Services at Lincolnshire County Council, added: “We are concerned for 14-year-old Kye Albelda’s wellbeing as he has been missing from Warwickshire since January 7.

“Kye is a young person who will make friends easily but is not always aware of the risks posed to him and this makes him highly vulnerable.

“He had been in contact with family in Lincolnshire and London to confirm he is ok but will not disclose his whereabouts.

“We would ask anyone who has any information to contact the police on the numbers provided as we want to make sure Kye is safe and well.”

Anyone with information can contact Lancashire Police on 101 quoting log 0531 of January 7.
