Stunned Lincoln retail staff drafted in the help of the RSPCA over the weekend after a swan found itself trapped in a compact shop courtyard.

Filmed by staff at community music charity Soundlincs, the slightly aggravated swan was carted away from the enclosed space behind Agatha Boutique on High Street by an RSPCA worker on Sunday, January 3.

Soundlincs, Scope and Agatha teams worked together after spotting the bird outside their office windows.
