Teen appeals for help to find long-lost dad from Lincoln

Online search: 18-year-old Ryan Lee Wright is desperately appealing to the online Lincoln community with the hopes of tracing his dad.

After an eight-year search, 18-year-old Ryan Lee Wright is desperately appealing to the online Lincoln community with hopes of tracing his dad.

Ryan lived in Lincoln until the age of 18 months, when his parents Rebecca Griffiths and Lee Wright went separate ways. He then moved to Wales with his mother.

Ryan has since had no contact with his dad, who is from Lincoln, and says he would do anything to meet him.

He said: “It would be an honour to find my dad. I’m unsure if he’s changed his name, but in 1998 he was Lee Wright. He would be around 43-45 now.

“He was born in Lincoln. I know he has two children Kieran and Rose and has a sister Emma Wright. His girlfriend/finance/wife’s name is Laura.

“His mother was called Penelope Rosemary who sadly passed away 4 years ago.”

Ryan still lives in Wales, but says he “would walk to the end of the world and back just to meet him” and his younger brothers and sisters.

“What child should live with out a parent? Life is cruel, please someone help.”

Ryan had one photograph of his dad, pictured below as a young boy with his mother Penelope:

Ryan added: “I really need him in my life and that I would do absolutely anything to get in contact with him!”

He is urging anyone who may know his dad to ask him to get in touch via 07889550491.

“Please share. Let’s see what the power of social media can do.”
