Lincoln villages without water after pipe bursts

Burst main: People in villages to the south of Lincoln are without water due to a burst main on the morning of Tuesday, January 5.

People in Bracebridge Heath and Waddington are finding themselves without water after a main burst just before 6am on Tuesday, January 5.

Anglian Water stated that residents and businesses will have very low pressure or no water at all for the majority of the morning. The supplier is working to fix the issue and get the supply flowing as normal.

A spokesperson from the company said: “We’re working hard to get it fixed so that we can get the supply back to normal as soon as possible. This should be by about 11.30am today.

“When the water is back it may look a little cloudy or discoloured, just run your tap for a couple of minutes and it should clear.”
