Caught: A prisoner who absconded from an open jail in Lincolnshire has been caught and returned to custody.

A prisoner who absconded from an open jail in Lincolnshire has been caught and returned to custody.

As previously reported, 30-year-old Ryan Taylor was reported missing from HMP North Sea Camp, near Boston at 1am on Sunday, January 10.

Taylor, who is originally from Leicestershire, escaped for most of the day until he was apprehended by officers in Spilsby on Sunday evening.

He was subsequently arrested and has now been returned to prison.
